Dr. Michael Janjigian

Dr. Michael Janjigian is an associate professor of medicine at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine and faculty member in the Division of General Medicine and Clinical Innovations. He serves as the Associate Chief of Medicine at Bellevue Hospital and as the chair of the CPR Committee. In his clinical roles, Dr. Janjigian provides supervision and education to the students, residents and PAs taking care of hospitalized patients at Bellevue. He has been recognized for outstanding teaching with three Teacher of the Year awards as voted upon by the NYU internal medicine residents, received a formal commendation for medical clerkship education, and was awarded as Mentor of the Year in Education by NYU.

In addition to serving as the Director of Internal Medicine POCUS at NYU, Dr. Janjigian is a faculty in the national CHEST essentials of ultrasound course, partners with the Global Ultrasound Institute as a director for courses in New York, and has multiple publications on the educational outcomes of the NYU POCUS courses.
