Dr Michael McCarthy

A graduate of University College Cork, Michael completed his Higher Specialist Training in Medical Oncology in 2017. He was awarded a Medical Research Council UK Clinical Research Training Fellowship to study NKG2D ligand regulation, leading to the award of DPhil in Clinical Medicine from the University of Oxford. Michael now works as a Consultant Medical Oncologist in University Hospital Galway.
