Dr Michael Conroy
Michael Conroy is a gynaecologic medical oncologist in Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He graduated with honours from UCD Medical School in June 2013, completed basic specialist training in the Mater Hospital and the Mayo Clinic, and higher specialist training in oncology with the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland 2019-2023. He was awarded the Darielle Linehan fellowship in thoracic medical oncology in 2022 and undertook two years of clinical and research fellowship in Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore.
His research in this time focused on plasma genotyping in lung cancer and cancer vaccines. During fellowship he received an ASCO Young Investigator Award and was selected for the AACR/ASCO Methods In Clinical Cancer Research workshop. He currently holds a clinician investigator role with research focused on immunotherapy in ovarian cancer.
