Prof David Gallagher

Prof Gallagher is a Clinical Professor in Trinity College Dublin and National Clinical Lead for Cancer Genetics with the National Cancer Control Programme. He is a consultant medical oncologist and medical geneticist in Hermitage Medical Clinic, Blackrock Clinic, Mater Private Hospital and St.James’s Hospital. He completed his medical oncology training on the Irish specialist training scheme and spent 4 years working at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre. In New York Prof Gallagher completed specialist training in genitourinary, gastrointestinal, breast and gynaecological oncology at MSKCC, and medical board training in medical genetics between MSKCC and New York Presbyterian Weil Cornell University Hospital.
