Dr Richard O’Dwyer

Richard O’Dwyer is a clinical fellow in Medical Oncology at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.  He currently works in the areas of genitourinary and gastrointestinal oncology.  Richard completed an undergraduate degree in Pharmacy at Trinity College, Dublin and then went on to complete his medical degree at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.

Prior to moving to Toronto, he completed basic specialist training in General Internal Medicine and higher specialist training in Medical Oncology In Ireland.  He has presented at both national and international conferences on different aspects of cancer care.  His main research focus at present includes bladder cancer management as well as patient safety and quality improvement.
