Dr Lisa Prior

Dr Lisa Prior is a Consultant Medical Oncologist and Oncology Research Director at Beacon Hospital and Assistant Clinical Professor at UCD. She graduated from UCD in 2012 and completed Higher Specialist Training in Medical Oncology through RCPI in 2020. Her research interests include manipulation of the PI3K pathway in advanced HER2 positive breast cancer and utilising liquid biopsies to identify for biomarkers of treatment response and resistance.

She has completed a doctorate degree on this subject and was also awarded a Conquer Cancer ASCO Young Investigator Award in 2020. She is currently PI on an investigator led pilot study studying the impact of exercise in patients with early stage breast cancer undergoing neoadjuvant chemotherapy.
