Dr Eileen O’Connor

Eileen O’Connor (CNS, RANP, RNP, RGN and RCN) is a dedicated Inclusion Health Nurse Specialist at the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital in Dublin.  She specialises in providing high-quality compassionate care to marginalized and vulnerable populations.  With a deep commitment to health equity , she focuses on delivering accessible healthcare to individuals experiencing homelessness, addiction and severe health inequities.  

Throughout her career Eileen has been a passionate advocate for breaking down barriers to accessing care, combining clinical expertise with a trauma informed approach.  She works collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, community organisations and social services to ensure that complex medical and pscyhosocial needs are met with dignity and respect, driven by the fact that healthcare is a fundamental human right.  Eileen continues to champion systemic change and inclusive practices within the healthcare system to support those who are too often left behind.
