AnneMarie Fay a breast cancer CNS in the Mater Private hospital Dublin and Michelle Matthews CNM2 in cancer research in the Mater hospital Dublin started the Answers For Cancers podcast in March 2020 where they interviewed experts in the field of oncology to provide patients and loved ones with more information and support during the COVID19 pandemic.

From this formed the idea of the Answers for Cancers app which they are currently creating and piloting with the hope of streamlining patient information by cancer type, stage and treatment plan and improving the experience for patients diagnosed with cancer.
