Dr Niamh Keegan
Dr Keegan completed her specialist training in medical oncology with the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland. She then undertook a translational science fellowship with the phase 1 team in the Cancer Clinical Trials & Research Unit at Beaumont Hospital and with Prof Bryan Hennessey‘s Molecular Medicine group.
She was awarded an Irish Society of Medical Oncology supported Advanced Fellowship at Memorial Kettering Cancer Center, New York where are her research focused on immunotherapy resistance in genitourinary malignancies. She joined the Biomarker Development Initiative at Memorial Sloan Kettering developing protocols to investigate blood-based biomarkers in prostate cancer.
She maintains a clinical practice and genitourinary malignancies with a focus on caring for patients with prostate cancer.
