Dr Colm Mac Eoghagain
Dr. Colm Mac Eochagain is a locum consultant and Aspire Clinical Fellow at St. James’s Hospital, Dublin, with clinical interests in breast cancer, head and neck cancers, and the care of older adults with cancer. He completed his undergraduate degree in medicine and MSc in clinical research at UCD, followed by specialty training through the Royal College of Physicians in Ireland.
He undertook a fellowship at the Royal Marsden Hospital London, where his clinical and research focus was primarily on the care of older patients with breast cancer. He leads research collaborations through the International Society of Geriatric Oncology (SIOG) and since 2024 has led the development of a new geriatric oncology service at St. James’s Hospital.
